Findings From the Government COVID-19 Response

These Snapshot Reports presents the findings from the government COVID-19 response tracking survey conducted in the regions across the country. Main findings are: the pandemic affected access to food particularly for poorer households and therefore most families needed support; the government food package didn’t reach all households; The monetary aid didn’t reach all households but has a slightly better more outreach than the food package;

Overall dissatisfaction with social assistance is high as a substantial majority of families said the assistance was not enough for their basic needs. Also, they prefer the aid in cash than in kind; Awareness of COVID-19 is high and generally, people know what to do when they have COVID-19; the main source of information is Radio and TV; overall, the perception that COVID-19 has improved health service delivery is high; although awareness of COVID-19 vaccine is high, vaccine hesitancy is also high; however, many thinks that there is enough information on vaccines.
